Meet Simeret*

My eldest daughter is in grade twelve and it’s my dream that she will be able to go to university next year.  She’s working super hard and she’s very bright. I hope our immigration case is settled by the time she’s accepted, otherwise I can’t afford the full fee. That’s my dream for the coming year. 

I really like cooking and the environment here at ASRC Catering is different, they’re always concerned with our humanity. We are sharing and learning from each other's experiences. I have three kids and I live here alone, so for me it’s really hard and I don’t feel settled. I still feel as though I am a guest in this country but I hope one day that will change.
